NOTICE MARCH 2020: We are still open offering limited service to guests, as travel restrictions allow for those who need to visit this area for essential activities.  Please obey all government orders! If you can travel, Corral Creek Lodge would like to assure our guest that we are taking extra precautions to reduce risk. Kernvilles Birthday Celebration. Whiskey Flats Day every year on Valentines Day weekend. This is a 4 day celebration that is full of fun activities for all ages.

Kern River Valleys Independence Celebration. Our fireworks show over Lake Isabella is amazing and fun for the whole family. Dates change yearly so check with Kern River Valley Chamber of Commerce for updated information.(CANCELED)

The Freeman Giant Sequoia grove is only 25 miles away - a must see!  Nearby Kernville features interesting stores and restaurants, and hosts special events throughout the year.  Most visitors come in spring or summer, but consider visiting us in winter too, when you can enjoy many of the same activities - including fishing in the Kern River, which stays open all year - plus have access to cross-country skiing and snowmobiling in the high country. There is so much to do, you may need to plan a return visit!

We are surrounded by the Sequoia National Forest and right on the upper Kern River,  where you can enjoy fishing, swimming, hiking, tubing, rafting, kayaking, rock climbing, mountain biking and horseback riding.  There's great access to trails along the river anytime, and we are an excellent staging point for a trip to the high country and wilderness areas. We are one of the closest places to stay to the Trail of 100 Giants Sequoia Grove, which many of our guests visit.
